We’ll tell you why to go there:
- It’s a magical landscape and just 3.5 hours of direct flight from Budapest or Vienna
- Full of loving, smiling and hearty people
- You need only a citizen’s license and no visas
- It’s safe there
- There are beautiful, clean mountains, forests, glaciers, rivers, meadows, good snow quality… and more
- Fine food and home-made wine, Wine was “born” in Georgia btw.
- It’s cheap. There is still no feeling of commerce.
- You will fall in love with their dance, with their music, with their nature…
The new Georgian resort of Tetnuldi, called “Mecca” of freeride and downhill skiing, is for every skier, less or more demanding, passionate, loving powder and beautiful mountain views. Tetnuldi is a prominent peak in the central part of the Greater Caucasus Mountain Range, located in the Svaneti region of Georgia. Tetnuldi is the 10th highest peak of the Caucasus. The slopes of the mountain are glaciated generally above the 3,000 metre (9,840 ft) line. The most prominent glacier of the mountain is called Adishi. RECOMMENDED DATE IS FEBRUARY, MARCH every year.
RECOMMENDED FLIGHTS ARE FROM VIENNA and BUDAPEST TO KUTAISI, WE ARE HAPPY TO BOOK THEM FOR YOU ! BUT IF YOU HAVE A SPECIAL DATE THAT YOU CAN GO AS GROUP, PLEASE LET US KNOW AND WE WILL TRY TO ADJUST THAT. Fotos by: Arkadiusz Jopert – http://jopert.com/ and by Fabian Sowinski In the romantic Svaneti region, which is also one of the most beautiful national parks, it offers adrenaline skiing on the slopes, but mainly on untouched terrain – in the wild, with a slight character of Orient.
Today it belongs to the world’s most trendy ski slopes. The ski resort is situated at 2260 m. – 3165 m.n. with excellent snow quality and beautiful views of the famous Mt. Ushba 4710m.n.m, also called the “Matterhorn” of the Caucasus.
All skiers will leave happy. The symbol of the picturesque town of Mestia, as well as the entire Svaneti region, are the stone defense towers. Cafeteria with a rich program of Georgian songs and dances, nice people, excellent cuisine … and much more will guarantee you the right atmosphere of this magic region and you will not want to leave …
