This Bike Tour in Slovakia will show you the most beautiful places in a short time of 6 days, you will visit 4 National Parks and get to know the variety of their Nature, some of the sightseeing (for example the Spissky Castle, one of the largest castles of Europe and signed on the UNESCO heritage list), you will try the best of the Slovakian food and drinks (for example dumplings with sheep cheese and the plum snaps), you will be in an authentic environment with the local people in the remote villages, stay in simple accommodation (but with everything you need for your comfort), your guide will show you the nicest bike routes and tell you stories of this Eastern European Culture… This Tour is for everyone who is used to cycle few times a year. It is rated as intermediate. But it can be adjusted to the group fitness. (it is possible to take a rest day and take a ride in the private van or choose a different activity, for example hiking, sightseeing, spa etc.) We can also visit a wellness on the way and take a bath in our mineral healing waters. You will have a Professional cycling guide with you and a private van, that drives your luggage between the accommodations. Guides are able to provide bike service if needed.

1st Day – Spisska Magura The aim of today’s trip is the locality of Gorals (Highlanders) who live below the mountains of Belanske Tatry and Spisska Magura. They have a strong relation to nature, folk traditions, they are known by their special language, temperament, dynamic music, but also by love for skiing. We ride uphill to the mountain ridge of Spisska Magura featuring by beautiful views of surroundings. Lovely flow trail of ca. 3km from up there will surely be a nice reward for you. At the end of the tour we ride back on easy bike path to Kezmarok with a break by pump track in Spisska Bela. ca. 50km ca. elevation 400m Tips to choose for those, who prefer easier riding or wanting to spend a time by another activity. -Museum of the folk culture in Zdiar -Treetop walk with sightseeing tower and spiral slide -Belianska lime stone cave -Rennaisance manor house with park Please see all pictures in bigger scale in GALLERY 2nd Day – Levočské vrchy Route: The route starts in the historical town of Kežmarok, continues around the Zlatná Pond to the main ridge of the Levoča Hills (1200 m), where we can see beautiful views of the High Tatras Mountain Nationalpark, the Poprad Basin, Branisko and famous Spiš Castle. Then continue to Levoča and then through Spišská Nová Ves to Novoveská Huta. Accommodation with half board: boarding house Kráľov prameň Tips to choose for those, who prefer easier riding or wanting to spend a time by another activity. -Visiting of the castle Ca. 45 km ca. 500m elevation 3rd Day – Slovak Paradise and Stolické vrchy Route: The route leads from Novoveská Huta through the Slovak Paradise Nationalpark and the Čertová hlava saddle to Dedinky to the Palcmanská Maša water reservoir. It continues along the ridge of Stolické vrchy through the Telgart deflection saddle and Northern meadow to the picturesque village of Muranská Zdychava. Tips to choose for those, who prefer easier riding or wanting to spend a time by another activity. -Hiking through the gorges of Slovak paradise National park with waterfalls Accommodation with half board: Hotel Hunter ca. 55km ca. elevation 800m 4th Day – Stolické vrchy Route: The section from Muranská Zdychava to Revúca, then climb through the old forest path to the Hlavíny saddle up to Železník with its mining history. Going to the village of Sirk through the valley through Ratkovské Bystré we climb up to Nemcová saddle and continue downhill to Muráň. A fairly easy route, the ability to extend the trip according to the fitness of the group. Accommodation with half board: pension Lykovec ca. 14 km ca. elevation 200m – EASY DAY Tips to choose for those, who prefer easier riding or wanting to spend a time by another activity. -Visiting of the wellness 5th Day – Muranska planina and Horehronie Route: From the village of Muráň, climb the old asphalt road to the castle of Muráň (sightseeing), then go to Veľká lúka and then downhill to Červená skála. It continues through Šumiac and Pohorelá to Heľpa. The route leads across the national park Muran Plateau. Accommodation with half board: Hotel Helpa ca. 35km ca. elevation 600m 6th Day – Low Tatras and Popradská basin Route: From the village Heľpa by a comfortable climb to the saddle Priehyba (1189 m), which is located in the main ridge of the Low Tatras National Park. Further downhill to Čierny Váh to Šuňava and from there through Lopušná valley to Svit and along cycling trail to Poprad. ca. 55km ca. elevation 700m
